Biggleswade are back in second place in the Herts League after victory at Haileybury.

Following last week’s defeat at top of the table Radlett they travelled to second place Haileybury knowing a victory would put them back in the promotion places.

Paul Hunt at string five had a comfortable 3-0 victory over Paul Gandolfo winning his match in less than 15 minutes (15-5, 15-3, 15-10).

Owen Ledger at number two took the first game 15-13 against David Gandolfo but then lost the next three (15-4, 15-7, 15-6).

With four games remaining promotion remains in their own hands. The next game is a cup semi-final against Bishops Stortford 3.
