Army cadets from Luton and Dunstable are celebrating the 150th anniversary of the formation of the four cadet forces with a number of exciting events.

Cadet150 will be marked at all levels across the country, including a series of national events.

Commandant of Beds and Herts Army Cadet Force Colonel Ian Macleod said: "We are delighted to be celebrating 150 years of this fantastic movement.

"The cadet forces offer such great opportunities for thousands of young people across the UK. We are encouraging people to find out more through Cadet150 – come along and live the adventure!"
