Everything cyclist Victoria Pendleton has worked so hard for comes down to her final races at the Beijing Olympics on Tuesday
The Stotfold cyclist has made it through to the semi-finals of the Women's Sprint.

That takes place at 9.30am British time on Tuesday morning - and the final of the competition follows towards lunchtime.

Victoria, the reigning World Champion, faces Dutch rider Willy Kanis in the first of the best of three legs semi-finals.

The winner of that race will then meet either Anna Meares of Australia or Shaung Guo of China in the final, scheduled to begin at 11.25am British time. The losing semi finalists race off the bronze medal.

Victoria eased passed Lithuania's Simona Krupeckaite in the quarter-finals on Monday morning, securing her semi-final berth without the need for a third race.

In qualifying she had smashed the Olympic record.

Team GB will be hoping for a golden finish to races in the Velodrome. Tuesday is the final day of racing and while Victoria goes in the Women's Sprint, Chris Hoy is in the semi-finals of the Men's Sprint and GB also has a team in the Men's Madison.

Check this website on Tuesday for full reports and reaction.
