Stotfold beat Caldecote 3-1 in Knockout Cup Final

Biggleswade Knockout Cup Final
Stotfold Reserves 3 Caldecote 1
(at Roker Park, Stotfold)

Unbeaten United Counties League Reserve Division One and Beds Intermediate Cup winners Stotfold Reserves capped their season with a 3-1 win over Bedfordshire Football League Premier Division side Caldecote in the final of the Biggleswade Knockout Cup on Thursday night to retain the trophy.

The Roker Park visitors went ahead through Leeroy Odd in the 35th minute but that goal was cancelled out just three minute later when the Rokermen's Freddie Morris applied a cool finish.

Then it was second half goals from Monday's Beds Senior Cup substitute Ryan Aldrin after 57 minutes and teammate Neil Smith some 13 minutes later that ensured the Knockout Cup remained in Stotfold's trophy cabinet for another 12 months after they won it the previous season in a penalty shoot-out.
