Pictures from Saturday win
A stunning 18th minute strike from Robbie O'Dell proved to be enough to give Biggleswade United their first win following a run of three straight defeats on Saturday.

The 1-0 victory also brought to an end a four-match winning sequence by fifth in the SSML Premier table Beaconsfield SYCOB

However Saturday's game had even more significance for the Second Meadow club as North East Beds MP Alistair Burt was on hand to officially launch its innovative on-line www.mybufc.com website.

The site has already brought United to the attention of well over 1,000 prospective new 'managers'.

Many of those who have already 'signed up' to United's new fundraising scheme are overseas members from as far afield as Australia and Canada and each new internet member will be able to vote on the club's future, its policies and even team selection once a target number of 5,000 is reached.

For a full match report from Alan Wooding see the November 2 edition of the Biggleswade Chronicle.
