Saturday action: Town, Reds, Potton and Arlesey lose - Stotfold held
Biggleswade United were the district's sole winners in Saturday's league action.
Cole struck at Second Meadow to give United a 1-0 win over Brimsdown Rovers, a result that puts them fifth in the SSML Premier Division.
Above them in fourth are Langford, who went down 2-0 in front of 85 spectators at Harefield United, Drake and Willis on the mark for the hosts.
Biggleswade Town are third despite going down 2-1 at Colney Heath, Hewitt netting the Waders' goal and Howard grabbing a double for the hosts.
In the United Counties League Premier Division Stotfold were pegged back twice at Boston Town, the game ending 2-2.
Brett Donnelly put the Rokermen in front, only for Matt Kennedy to level. Ryan Mitchell restored that lead but Gary Bull grabbed Boston's second equaliser.
Potton looked to be heading to victory at home to Deeping when Jeremy McMurrough and Dean Hamilton gave them a two goal lead at half time.
But three late goals - two from Semple and one from Cobb - saw Rangers take all three points in a 3-2 win.
In the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round Arlesey Town went down 4-1 at home to Ashford.
