... but Arlesey's winning run comes to an end at Soham
Biggleswade Town earned their third Southern League draw and a third successive point when they hosted Stourport Swifts last night (Thursday) in a re-arranged game that was originally postponed on February 27.

The match at the Carlsberg Stadium was watched by just 52 spectators (the lowest of the season) and it ended with tow goals apiece.

Peter Gatti opened the scoring on 27 minutes for the Town with his first goal of the season while Richard Tompkins finally levelled for the visitors nine minutes into the second half.

Stourport then went ahead in the 65th minute courtesy of Dan Polan before James Freshwater netted the Waders' equaliser in the 74th minute.

Having won their last three successive games, Arlesey Town ran out of steam away to Soham Town Rangers last night where they lost 2-0 in front of just 81 supporters.

The Soham goals came in the 54 and 63rd minutes and both were scored by their leading marksman, Dubi Ogbonna who took his season's tally to 16.
