... while the FA Trophy and Vase throws up some good draws
The FA Cup draw was made at 11am this morning (Wednesday) and Southern League newcomers Biggleswade Town have been drawn away to either Harefield United or Haringey Borough in the Preliminary Round to be played on Saturday, August 29.
Fellow Division One North side Arlesey Town have gained a home draw against either Hertford Town or Southend Manor.
The Cup starts two weeks earlier for Potton United, Langford and Biggleswade United who are all at home on Saturday, August 15.
Potton will host Hoddesdon Town, the Reds entertaining fellow SSML side Aylesbury (formerly Aylesbury Vale) while United will welcome local UCL side Stotfold to their revamped Second Meadow ground.
In their first ever foray in the FA Carlsberg Trophy, the Waders will visit Tilbury on Saturday, October 3 while the Blues have also been drawn away and will travel to Potters Bar Town.
In the FA Carlsberg Vase, Stotfold have a bye through to the First Round Proper which will be played on Saturday, October 3 when they travel to Broxbourne Borough while Potton, Langford and Biggleswade United begin their respective campaigns on Saturday, September 19 at the Second Qualifying Round stage.
Langford will host either Hullbridge Sports or Hertford Town, Potton are away to Baldock Town Letchworth or Wivenhoe Town while Biggleswade United are set to entertain Codicote.
