Public meeting planned to discuss Biggleswade's future
Could you help shape the future of Biggleswade?

Residents of the town are being given the opportunity to come forward and have their say over the way they want their town to develop in the coming years.

Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (BRCC) and Biggleswade Town Council have banded together in a bid to form a town plan - with a public meeting set to take place on Tuesday.

But in order to create the plan they need residents young and old to come forward.

Biggleswade mayor Peter Woodward explained: "I think we need some planning for the future to maintain the integrity of the town and to help the community have a better life within that.

"The town plan is designed to get the opinions of the local residents and what they would like to see in Biggleswade. The more people that can attend the meeting the better. Everybody, no matter who they are, has the chance to participate."

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 1 at 7.30pm at the Weatherley Centre on Eagle Farm Road.
