Police seek witnesses after road accident

Two men taken to hospital with serious injuries
Police are appealing for witnesses following a single car collision in Blunham on Friday (January 29).

It happened at 9.30pm on the A1 northbound when a green Renault Megane left the road and collided with trees.

The car was then forced back onto the road stopping across both lanes just south of the Blunham turn, ending on its roof.

Tpassenger, a 40-year-old man, was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital with serious chest injuries. The driver, a man, suffered serious head injuries and was also taken to Addenbrookes Hospital.

The road was closed while the vehicle was recovered and a full collision investigation is underway.
