Man charged with murder

Michael Anderson to appear in court this morning
A man arrested in Sandy has been charged with the murder of 22-year-old James Latimer.

Michael Alfred Anderson, 19, has been charged with murder and violent disorder and will appear at Bedford Magistrates Court this morning.

Latimer, of Dearne Walk, Brickhill, Bedford, died at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, on Monday following an incident in Bedford town centre in the early hours of Sunday.

A post-mortem established he died from severe head injuries.
