Fresh attack on Sandy facility days after clean-up
A skate park has been vandalised only days after a previous act of graffiti was cleaned up.

Graffiti at Sandy Skate Park was painted over on Thursday, May 8 in preparation for the opening of a new Gravity ramp - costing over £18,000 - the following Saturday.

But within 48 hours of the opening ceremony graffiti was again sprayed all over the area - including across the brand new ramp.

Skate Park Co-ordinator Ken Lynch said: "It is so disappointing because it is the third time this kind of thing has happened in a matter of weeks - and the situation is now getting serious and expensive. It costs £250 to have the graffiti painted over every time and now we've run out of money. The skate park belongs to the young people and that's why it is so upsetting."

Ken has reported the incident to the Police, who believe the vandals attacked the park at some point between Sunday night and Monday morning.

If you have any information please contact the police 01234 841212.

Yes, aliens are out there
