Collection holds Spring Air Show
The skies of Chronicle Country will be alive with the throaty roar of vintage aircraft this weekend.

The Shuttleworth Collection holds its annual Spring Air Show on Sunday, May 4 and is set to include an historic vehicle display, vintage aircraft and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Supermarine Spitfire.

There will also be the chance to buy a signed copy of the new book by Aviation Trustee Anthony Haig-Thomas.

The book gives a vivid, detailed and often humorous account of his illustrious service in the Royal Air Force, and all proceeds go directly to the Shuttleworth Collection.

Gates for the air show open at 9am and flying starts at 2pm. Tickets are £20 for adults, free for children under 16 who are accompanied by an adult and include entry to the Swiss Garden.
