Villages play host to Scarecrow Festival

Scarecrows take over Northill and Ickwell for first time
A Scarecrow Festival will be coming to Northill and Ickwell for the first time this weekend.

The event is running on today and tomorrow (Sunday and MOnday) from 11am to 4pm and so far there has already been around 40 displays being entered.

The festival kicks off at Ickwell Village Hall where visitors can buy a map and voting slip for £2, then find the scarecrows dotted around the villages.

There will also be tea and coffee available as well as a raffle and bric-a-brac stall.
