Do your bit to make town carnival another success

COULD you do your bit to make Biggleswade’s biggest summer event go with a bang?

Biggleswade Carnival has a packed programme of events in June with the highlight being the traditional grand parade of floats - this year taking place on Saturday, June 23.

The theme for the floats in this year’s procession has been confirmed as board games - so if you’re planning to take part, get you thinking caps on!

The voluntary organising committee holds its agm next Friday, February 10 and new faces are very welcome.

Could you offer an extra pair of hands with putting an existing event on, or perhaps even offer some new ideas?

Perhaps your company could sponsor an event? All proceeds go to local worthy causes.

Biggleswade Carnival agm takes place at the Working Men’s Club in Church Street at 8pm - simply pop along, or give committee chairman Alan Richards a call on 07807 575554.
