Ecohub is new home of parish council

PASSERSBY may have noticed some extra activity at their community centre this week.

Work on the much awaited Gamlingay Ecohub has now been completed and this week the parish clerks, Leanne Bacon and Kirstin Rayner, have been moving the parish council offices from their old location in the almshouse chapel in Church Street to the Stocks Lane site.

The move started on Wednesday (February 1) and it is expected that everything will be ready to open the new parish council offices in the Ecohub on Monday (February 6).

The Gamlingay Ecohub will be opened officially on Friday, March 23 by Andrew Lansley, MP for South Cambridgeshire.
