Hundreds paid their respects to Brian

MORE than 250 mourners celebrated the life of a much-loved member of the community.
Friends, relatives and well-wishers travelled from as far away as Blackpool, Wales and the Republic of Ireland to attend the funeral of Brian Sharp in Stotfold last Friday (January 20).
Brian, who was 65 and lived in Castles Close, Stotfold died after collapsing following a suspected heart attack earlier this month.
Brian, who is survived by his widow Rose, daughter Nicola, son Gareth and two grandchildren was a steam engine fanatic.
His family organised a steam engine procession from Stotfold Conservative Club to St Mary’s Church and Stotfold Cemetery where the funeral took place.
Nicola said: “I would like to thank everyone for all their kind support.”
The family are now collecting for the British Heart Foundation.
