Stondon School hard at work in the 1950s

This rare early 1950s photograph of a class hard at work in Stondon School was kindly sent in to us by Mrs H Brittain.

The teacher, Mrs B M Wilshere, died earlier this year aged 92.

Pupils pictured include: Janet Cooper, Graham Stanley, Peter Taylor, Geoffrey Cooper, David Mager, Irene Moore, Ian Davidson, Rosemary Self, Eric clark (Mrs Brittain's brother), Charles Shade, Malcolm Preslent and Christopher Perry.
