Boogie Nights

Boogie Nights

Step back to the 70s with an all star line up. The Osmonds, Gareth Gates, Louisa Lytton, Andy Abraham, Chico and Shane Richie Junior will all be performing Boogie Nights – The 70s Musical in Concert.

Boogie Nights was the West End’s original jukebox musical, conceived by Jon Conway and Shane Richie in 1997. It and followed the hilarious and heart-warming story of Roddy O’Neil.

Set in a provincial British town in the height of the disco 70s, it completed five UK tours after its London success and has also toured the world. Boogie Nights returns this year as a remixed concert version of the ultimate party show!

Join the original characters for a fantastic evening’s entertainment featuring live music, multimedia and no fewer than 70 of your favourite hit songs from the 70s.

The Osmonds will perform not just their own hits such as Crazy Horses and Love Me For A Reason but also a range of classic songs.

Gareth Gates will play heartthrob Dean, singing pop classics such as If You Leave Me Now, Disco Inferno and Puppy Love.

Louisa Lytton, who played Ruby in Eastenders, will sing I Will Survive and Don’t Go Breaking My Heart. This tour is her musical debut.

The X Factor finalists, Andy Abraham and Chico, will both join the show. Andy will perform Barry White classics such as You’re My First, My Last, My Everything. Chico will bring his energetic dance moves to such hits as Le Freak.

Shane Richie Junior has inherited his father’s role of Roddy and sing songs such as Blame it on the Boogie.

You can see the show at Milton Keynes Theatre on Tuesday (February 26) and Wednesday at 7.30pm. Tickets cost from £27.50. Call the box office on 08448 717652.

You can also catch it in the Gordon Craig Theatre’s concert hall on Thursday at 7.30pm.
