Catch the phantom at Halloween

Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular new production of The Phantom of the Opera is now on at The Milton Keynes Theatre – for five weeks only.

The production stars Earl Carpenter as The Phantom while Katie Hall plays the role of Christine.

The Phantom of the Opera will run until Saturday, November 24 and performances are on Monday to Saturday evenings at 7.30pm.

There will also be selected matinees on certain days.

Dance fans can catch a variety song and dance show from the well known Sylvia Bebb School of Ballet and Theatre Arts.

The show, On Point, is at the Bedford Corn Exchange on Saturday (November 3) and Sunday (November 4) at 3.30pm. Tickets are £12 for adults and £10 for concessions.

On Wednesday, November 7 Mark Watson is at the venue talking about the power of the internet, the nature of identity and how to stop crime following his brush with identity theft.

Andy Abraham arrives at the Gordon Craig in Stevenage on Friday (November 2) with the History of the Big Bands. The show features the country’s leading 13-piece big band and world class soloists in the ultimate tribute to jazz music’s legendary bandleaders. The show is at 7.45pm and tickets are £23.

If you prefer soul, you can catch The Stylistics at 8pm, also on Friday. Tickets are £26 while rock fans can see David Essex in The Rock Tour tomorrow at 7.30pm. Tickets for the show, which features hits from his 40-year career, are £30.50 and £28.50.

Saturday is the Cabaret Royale Night at the venue – a line-up of acts that fuses cabaret, variety, burlesque and stand-up. Suitable for over 16s only, the show is at 8pm and tickets are £16.

Easy music and great food combine for the Sunday Lunch Live: Acoustic Sunset Trio at noon on Sunday. A variety of artists cover jazz, soul, blues and classical. Tickets are £16 for a meal and the performance of £6 for just the performance.

You can also see The Bay City Rollers Story on Sunday at 7.45pm - a celebration of the band’s hit songs and behind the scenes pandemonium. Tickets are £20.50 and £18.50.
