Battle of the Bands rolls into town
Can your band beat last year's winners the Jamlinjays?
From pop punk to grunge and metal whatever tickles your musical taste buds you are sure to find it at the Gamlingay Battle of the Bands final.
And rest assured music lovers, all of the bands in the grand final have been hand-picked by local music gurus Gamlingay Records.
The line-up boasts the fabulous A Thousand Sins who impressed the judges so much last year that they were snapped up by the record label.
So if you need something to perk up those cold winter nights head on down to The Community Centre, Stocks Lane on November 14.
The mouth-watering line up includes:
Kate is the Decoy, a pop punk progressive band from Gamlingay
Okaeri who play rock and post hardcore songs from Biggleswade
Phoenix Impact, a rock and dance crossover act form Gamlingay
White Lines to Sunset a pop punk band from Flitwick
Skycolouredperfect who describe themselves as screamo and are from the Letchworth area
Get Set, who play electro pop rock from Biggleswade
Newspeak, an alternative rock band from Great Gransden
Switch, a young rock band from Milton Keynes who played last year
Noize, who play punk, grunge rock and metal.
Minus the Departed, a hard rock band from Sandy
Headlining the evening will be last year's winners, The Jamlinjays, who will be launching their new EP at the gig.
