St Mary’s Singers concert in Potton

A choir’s concert will feature a varied programme of music.

St Mary’s Singers, who rehearse in Potton, will be joined by the New English Concert Orchestra.

The programme will include Vivaldi’s Gloria with soloists Ellie Barnard and Helen Rotchell, a performance of Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by the orchestra and Bach’s Keyboard Concerto performed by Trevor Hughes.

St Marys Singers will be accompanied by the orchestra will be for Bruckner’s Locus Iste, Stainer’s God So Loved the World and Mass No. 1 in D – Kyrie by Antonio Salieri.

They will also sing Dona Nobis Pacem by the choir’s conductor, Douglas Coombes.

The concert will be on Saturday 23rd March 2013 at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Potton.
