Group catch the Christmas (Hum) bug early

Don't be a Scrooge - go see this show

GO! Towers would like to apologise for the contents of this forthcoming theatre preview as it contains graphic mentions of Christmas.

Yes alright we said it, Christmas, it seems to be upon us already, or at least Bedford Marianettes would have us believe.

The calendar may only say October, but Scrooge The Musical is upon us already - bah humbug.

Adapted during the 1970s, Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol takes on a musical twist for Scrooge and features those festive favourites Thank You Very Much and December 25th.

Suffice to say we all know the story of scrooge by now, the cantankerous old accountant who changes his stripes after getting a visit from three ghosts on Christmas Eve.

Lovingly reproduced by Bedford Marianettes Scrooge The Musical comes to The Place Theatre, in Bradgate Street, Bedford.

The show runs daily until Saturday, (October 10) with performances at 7.30pm and a matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Tickets cost 9.50, concessions 7.50 and are available by calling 07508 857217 or visiting www.theplacebedford.org.uk

Go! is now off to ignore Christmas for at least another two months, but remember, only 76 more shopping days left.
