Television star Jan Ravens comes to Bedford Corn Exchange
The Queen, Anne Robinson, Nigella Lawson, Fiona Bruce and many, many more celebrities will be on stage in Bedford this weekend.
Well actually they won't be here in person, but woman of 1,000 voices Jan Ravens will be, and when she's in town no female of public note is safe from her unique brand of satirical comedy.
Impressionist extraordinaire, Ravens is best known for her performances during seven hilarious series of hit television and radio show Dead Ringers and Alistair McGowan's Big Impression.
A woman of many talents as well as personas, she has also proved herself a brain box by winning Celebrity Mastermind and shown her cha-cha-cha to the world on Strictly Come Dancing.
Hopping straight off the stage of London's National Theatre onto that at Bedford Corn Exchange, her new solo show, Jan Ravens : A Funny Thing About Impressions, promises to be a romp through the world of entertainment, sport, politics and celebrity faux pas.
Ravens is also happy to do on the spot impressions, in fact it's often difficult to stop her during shows.
