Musical magic comes to Turvey

An all time classic musical and Rodgers and Hammerstein favourite comes to the stage in Turvey next week.

Academy award winning show The King And I is being lovingly recreated by the fine folk of Turvey Amateur Theatrical Society.

Telling the true story of Anna Leonowens, a British woman who sails halfway across the world to become governess to the many children of the King of Siam.

Featuring great dancing and songs like Getting To Know You, Whistle A Happy Tune and Shall We Dance, the musical is on at Turvey Village Hall from Wednesday, October 21.

Performances run nightly at 7.30pm until Saturday, October 24 and tickets are available from Turvey Central Stores.
