Song and dance sensation set to cause hysteria

Box office smash hit High School Musical comes to Milton Keynes

Causing teenage hysteria and pandemonium across the globe, High School Musical has become the Grease of a whole new generation.

Catapulting its young stars to fame and fortune, the Disney movie brand has made millions at the cinema box office and has broken television viewing records on both sides of the Atlantic.

Now the all singing, all dancing, high school basketball extravaganza is back on the stage and coming to Milton Keynes Theatre.

In case you've been living under a rock for the past three years the action follows all-star sportsman Troy and shy academic newcomer Gabriella, as the pair discover their secret passion for singing.

But their new found love threatens to destroy the rigid social order of East High and alienate their peers and friends.

In an attempt to maintain the Status Quo the 'jocks,' 'brainiacs' and drama club are soon hatching convoluted plans to keep the pair offstage.

Of course it's blatantly obvious how this teenage love story is going to end, but there are enough chart topping songs, namely Breaking Free and We're All In This Together, and high kicks to keep all the family entertained.

This is a must see for movie fans and theatre goers alike, so get'cha head in the game and get down to Milton Keynes Theatre between Monday, June 29, and Saturday, July 4.
