Festivities of the season with choir

editorial image

Choir members will be presenting a selection of seasonal music at their Christmas concerts.

St Mary’s Singers, who are based in Potton, have called their performances Nöel Nöel.

The programme will feature many festive favourites including an unusual setting of The First Nöel, which gives the concert its name.

Also included are selections from The Nations Rejoice by the choir’s musical director, Douglas Coombes, and the group’s carol competition winning carol, Balulalow by Bethany Reeves.

Special guests will be the Potton based barbershop quartet, Double Take. The accompanist will be Anne Wright.

The concerts take place at the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Dunton on Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £8 for adults and £4 for under 16s. Buy yours from Tysoes in Potton Market Square, Val on 01767 601877 or Shirley on 01767 316948.
