The purrfect way to pamper your moggie

If you have ever felt guilty about leaving your cat while you swan off for a two week break in the sun then the latest thing in Luton could be for you.

Last weekend saw the launch of a luxury cat hotel.

Only moments away from Luton airport the Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel, part of the Longcroft Group, is run by cat lover Aly Rochester in the grounds of her home.

Deputy Mayor Cllr Sameera Saleem who officially cut the launch ribbon.

From wrought iron designer cat beds with the softest pillows and gourmet ‘A La Cat’ menu choices served on bone china, to music, personal grooming sessions and gorgeous views, the guests at this hotel are in for a treat!

Aly puts her owners’ mind at rest by offering regular updates, photographs and texts whilst owners are away enjoying their holiday.

Aly says “After being blown away by the way Longcroft took care of my own cats when I went on holiday I decided I had to offer the same level of care to cat lovers in Bedfordshire. I am delighted to be able to offer the highest level of service and care to my Longcroft guests, we offer a real ‘home from home’ environment that enables owners to go away guilt-free and really enjoy their holiday. I’m extremely proud to be part of the Longcroft family and very much look forward to welcoming you and your precious cats.”

Longcroft Luton is the tenth hotel in the highly successful Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Group, which is the vision of Abi Purser, who opened the first hotel in 2010 in response to the poor standard of accommodation and care offered across the UK.

Asked what she is most looking forward to about running a Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel, Aly says: “Offering the best care available to my guests. Seeing them relaxed and thriving whilst their owners are away is very rewarding. The response I have already received has been fantastic and I have bookings as far away as Christmas!”

Leaving a much loved cat for whatever reason, because of a holiday or having renovation work done at home, can be really distressing. Aly’s aim is to put an owner’s mind at rest that their pet is being incredibly well looked after whilst they are away.
