Meat business is seeing gold with bangers

SAUSAGES are the name of the game for a meat production company.

York House Foods, which has been based in Shannon Place in Potton for the last 30 years, picked up several awards at The BPEX Foodservice Sausage of the Year 2011.

The accolades were given in time for British Sausage Week, which started on Monday (October 31).

York House Foods supplies meat wholesale.

The company’s Pinjar pork sausage was awarded gold and given second place in the traditional pork sausage category.
