Rugby legend due to scrum on down to gala dinner

FORMER Luton policeman and Bedford and England rugby legend Martin Bayfield will be speaking at a gala dinner of insurance professionals on Friday, February 10.

The Insurance Institute of Luton & St Albans is celebrating its 80th anniversary with a black tie event at the Menzies Strathmore Hotel in Luton, in front of an audience of nearly 200 insurance professionals from Luton, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Also due to speak is Julian James, the national president of the Chartered Insurance Institute, which is itself marking its centenary year in 2012. The Insurance Institute of Luton & St Albans represents more than 1,400 insurance professionals.
