Victoria Goody and Naomi White launched Handmade Moments last year, from a kitchen table in Biggleswade. They were inspired by their own love of crafting and aim to make the workshops easy, fun and sociable.

They help beginners as well as more experienced sewers create handmade items in a fun and relaxed environment.

Workshop activities include ‘Mr and Mrs’ bunting for crafty hens and baby mobiles made by mums-to-be and their friends.

Naomi said: “We love making handmade gifts and we know that other people like it too – whether it’s creating unique wedding decorations or personalised presents for mums and babies. But sometimes it’s hard to know where to start and that’s where we come in – we take the stress out of it.”

Handmade Moments intend setting up cafe workshops offering trending crafts such as embroidery hoop art, pompom garlands and flower crowns. The first will be held at The Tea Cosy on Biggleswade High Street on Saturday, May 14.
