Wilko prepares to open up at A1

High street chain Wilko will be opening on 17 August at 9am. To mark the occasion, Mayor Cllr David Albone will lead a ceremonial ribbon cutting, along with Wilko Finance Director, Aidan Connelly and Branch Manager, Sarah Heald.

The first 100 lucky customers through the door will receive a big red envelope that entitles them to a prize ranging from gift cards to smoothie makers.

The launch day activity will include:

>Big red ticket giveaway to the first 100 customers

>Speed sketcher doing free drawings

> Tombola with kitchen appliances up for grabs including food mixers and hand blenders

Wilko Biggleswade Branch Manager, Sarah Heald said: “The team is busy preparing the final touches to the store ahead of the official opening.
