Thieves made off with a stash of cash and jewellery after raiding a home in Biggleswade last week.

The burglary took place in Station Road on Thursday, August 11.

At around 10.40am, the crooks gained entry to the house and searched it, stealing money and several pieces of jewellery.

The men then left the home. One got into a green car parked nearby and drove away towards Cambridge Road, while the other walked away towards Prospect Road.

One of the men is described as wearing a dark grey hat and dark jacket.

Det Con Surinder Ram said: “The burglary took place in the morning, and so I am asking anyone who was in the area at the time who saw anyone acting suspiciously to get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Ram on 101 quoting crime reference number JD/32128/2016. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
