Church christening ceremony for baby dolls
PUPILS continued their life milestones topic with a pretend christening.
Leopard Class at Northill Lower School went to St Mary’s Church for a baptism service.
The Year 3 and 4 children made a traditional christening cake and wore their best clothes.
They dressed a doll in a real Christening gown and chose parents and god-parents. The service was taken by Father Frank Coleman. Next the children will look at similar celebrations in other faiths.
