Euan was so in tune with judges

AN aspiring saxophonist impressed judges at a young musician contest.

Euan King, who attends Edward Peake Middle School in Biggleswade won a cash prize and was given a certificate at the final of the Rotary Young Musician of the Year contest.

The 12-year-old competed against other outstanding musicians at Bedford Modern School.

Euan, who finished third in his class was presented with the prize and certificate by the High Sheriff of Bedfordshire Andrew Slack.

He was invited to take part in the competition by staff at the Potton Road school.

Euan played a blues and ragtime piece in the final.
