Musical visit for Arlesey academy students

STUDENTS from an academy will get the chance to watch a rehearsal by the London Symphony Orchestra.

STUDENTS from an academy will get the chance to watch a rehearsal by the London Symphony Orchestra.

Selected Year 8 students from Etonbury Academy in Arlesey will see the orchestra and violinist Sarah Chang perform at the Barbican in London on Thursday (February 23).

Valery Gergiev will be the conductor.

The students will hear music from the likes of Shostakovich and Benjamin Britten.
