Praise for Sandy Upper School pupils as A level results go from strength to strength

Sandy Upper School continues to go from strength to strength, with another excellent set of '˜A' level results, with 100% pass rate, 0.8% up from last year.

The students celebrated an outstanding set of results, a fitting reward after all of their hard work over the last two years, said principal Karen Hayward

The majority of the students already knew that their university offers had been secured and all were astounded by their personal achievements and by the improvements in the results.

The following students excelled in their studies: Jess Dodds A*, A, B, B; Katie Porter A, A, B; Dylan Hetherington D*, D*, B, B; Neelesh Prang A, B, C; Connor O’Brien D*, D*, D*, D*, D* and James Bridgeman D*, D*, D*, B, M, to name some of the student success.

Ms Hayward said “these grades show a significant improvement and reflect the hard work and dedication of both staff and students. I am extremely proud and pleased by the achievements of all the students and I wish them well in the next stage of their journey. I would also like to thank the staff for their incredible commitment to the students’ progress and welfare throughout their time at Sandy Upper School.”
