Winners of the ESU public speaking competition staged in Bury St Edmunds

Young people’s debating skills were put to the test at the annual English Speaking Union’s competition.

This was at County Upper School on Monday and won by the Royal Hospital School, Holbrook with St Benedict’s in Bury coming second.

Subjects included Hollywood’s impact on theatre, public figures and their private lives, sex education and the Internet.
