The presentation was made by the Mayor of Biggleswade, Cllr Mrs Hazel Ramsay. Cllr Ramsay said: “On behalf of Biggleswade Town Council it gives me great pleasure to present this cheque for £10,000 to The Ivel Sprinter.

We are all aware of how the feelings of isolation and loneliness can affect the lives of so many people and we appreciate the service you provide for our local communities to help in combatting this.

“Please accept this cheque with our good wishes for the future of The Ivel Sprinter.”
