All Poles together
Launch of Luton's new Polish Business Club
More than 40 firms attended the launch of Luton's new Polish Business Club on Friday, March 5.
Beauticians, physiotherapists, solicitors and manufacturers were among the many Polish companies and business people who gathered for the event at the Leaside Hotel in New Bedford Road.
Polish entrepreneurs who have chosen to live in Luton are championing a simple and practical approach to creating new business opportunities.
So the Luton Polish Business Club has been created to offer them networking and hands-on advice including how to start a new company, employment law and marketing.
Founder Robert Szydlowski, who also set up Polish Local Magazine Magazyn Lokalny and local web portal www.wLuton.net, said: "The founding of the Business Club shows the growing momentum amongst local Polish businesses.
"Like everyone else in our town, we want to work – and we want to work together with the entire Luton business community to create jobs.
"The Polish Business Club is open to all and we look forward to growing in the future."
The launch event was also attended by Joe Hall, the independent parliamentary candidate for Luton South.
