A charity shop has been open for a decade.
Customers, volunteers and staff at the Wood Green shop in Sandy High Street marked the business’ 10th anniversary with cake and coffee.
The shop has 20 volunteers and it has raised more than £300,000 since it was opened.
Shop manager Vanessa Dumpleton said: “The shop has grown from strength to strength since its opening and this is down to the dedication of the volunteers as well as the support of shoppers and donors.”
To recognise this landmark and the store’s continuing value to the charity, staff and volunteers at the shop are asking people to donate tins of dog and cat food, which will be used to create a display in the shop window throughout September.
The tins will then be donated to Wood Green.
