Apply for Carnival cash

Charities and good causes can apply for grants from the Biggleswade Carnival committee.

Thousands of pounds were raised at this year’s carnival back in June as bucket collectors accompanied the carnival floats around town collecting change.

Organisers are now ready to hand out the cash.

Any charitable organisation in Chronicle Country can apply for grants but must do so in writing.

Anyone who would like to contact the committee can write to C/O secretary, 46, Festival Road, Potton, SG19 2QN.

The deadline for applications is Wednesday, October 31.
