Thousands hit by water cut

Monday: water off in Sandy area

Thousands of households woke up to find their water supply was off today (Monday).

The disruption is thought to have affected thousands of homes and businesses throughout Sandy and the surrounding area.

The supply went off at 3am and a burst pipe in the Cedar Gardens area is being blamed.

Water was still off at 8.30am.
