Brownies have a welly good time on their walk

MORE than 100 brownies, rainbows and their families went on a welly walk around the RSPB.

The youngsters from the Sandy district guiding organisation also decorated their Wellington boots, had a go at welly throwing and tested their knowledge with a picture quiz.

RSPB volunteer, Mark Thacker, said: “It went extremely well and they had a fantastic day.”

The photograph shows Ella Symonds, 9, Rebecca Cooper, 7, and Ashleigh Cooper, 9.
