A new collection point for a charity could be set up.

Shefford mayor Councillor Paul Mackin wants to add a collection point for the Need Project in the town.

Donations could be left there to be passed on.

The Need Project has been going for around five years and is run by Kings Baptist Church in Stotfold.

Food and other vital items are donated to the project by generous members of society and these are then given to those in need throughout the year.
