Discover the Easter story at church.

For Easter this year Churches Together in Sandy and Beeston have brought The Easter Story Trail to the area. The inside of Sandy Baptist Church has been converted into 1st century Palestine and it will remain like that until Easter.

The Upper Room, the Garden of Gethsemane, the dark tomb and the empty cross have all been created.

Churches Together have invited all of the local schools, lower and middle school children and adults to visit and find out more.

Skilled story tellers will re-enact the Easter story with the help of an elaborate set. The children move around the set while the story is told to aid their imaginations and find out more about Easter.
