Congratulations to Dot for reaching her 100th birthday!
One hundred years old and looking good!
Dot Barford reached the milestone birthday on Monday (January 21).
But nobody would ever guess she is 100, said her granddaughter, Jackie Rands.
Friends and family celebrated the occasion on Saturday with a party at her home in Handley Court in Sandy.
Jackie said: “It went brilliantly and everyone seemed to have a lovely time. Dot was up dancing as well – we’ve got a video to prove it! She was circling round and chatting to everyone.”
Dot moved to Sandy in 2005 to be near Jackie and her family.
She has had several jobs working as a seamstress, as a ‘clippy’ on the buses, as a fluffer for the London Underground and in a cafeteria.
