Sandy Town Council is asking the community to express its views about the burial regulations which apply in Sandy Cemetery.

They have announced a public meeting on Thursday, September 11 at 7.30 pm at Jenkins Pavilion on Sunderland Road Recreation Ground.

The meeting will be chaired by Councillor Julia Holmes, the Deputy Mayor of Shefford.

You can also write to the council with your views.

There will be an open morning at the Council offices on Saturday, September 6 where residents can chat with the Mayor and Council Members over coffee and cake about the issue as well.

After collecting more information the council will then consider whether it wishes to revise its regulations.
