Crime and disorder rates are falling.

The Community Safety Partnership, which includes Central Beds Council, will now focus on reducing anti-social behaviour, re-offending and violent offences.

Last year crime in Central Beds fell by 22 per cent between April and September compared to the same period in 2011.

There were 71 fewer house burglaries and 268 fewer vehicle crimes during this time frame.
