A supermarket raised more than £300 for charity through a cooking display.

Sainsbury’s in Biggleswade held the Valentine’s fundraiser in aid of the Bone Cancer Trust, raising £316 on Thursday, February 7.

On the menu was smoked salmon pate parcels, mild chili beef stir fry and chocolate heart dessert.

The event was hosted by Sian Fox from the Sainsbury’s Try Team and guests included Biggles FM DJ Stuart Bond.
